Research Projects Development Course

From the 26th to 30th May 2014 a course was held in the Faculty of Medicine on Research Projects Development Course organized by MIHER and the Scientific Department of the University Eduardo Mondlane – UEM, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine. The course was aimed at Teachers and Researchers of UEM and others interested in research in areas of Bio-sciences (Medicine, Veterinary, Biology, Agronomy and Forestry).

Among other relevant subjects in the preparation of research projects, the course encompassed matters on the General Structure of a Research Protocol, identification, definition and relevance of the problem, as well as research objectives, formulating hypotheses and literature review, Methodological Aspects , Ethical Considerations and Funding Sources Research.

Research Projects Development CourseThis course was attended by 36 people, including Teachers and Research Assistants and Residents as well as general practice physicians in early stage of their career. Was lectured by Teachers with recognized academic and pedagogical merit of the Faculty of Medicine (FoM-UEM), the Mozambique National Institute of Health (INS – Mozambique), the Health Research Center on of Manhiça (CISM), the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and MIHER.
